How does it work?

If you join my Advance Reader Club (ARC) you’ll be offered an advance copy of my new books for free, before their release date. In return I’ll ask you for an honest review at the time of the book’s official release.

Advance Reader Clubs are a win-win situation for everyone. Readers will be the first to enjoy new book releases at no cost (and before anybody else!) while helping their favourite authors gain much needed support and enthusiasm in launching their books by leaving a review on Amazon.

Reviews are vitally important for new authors. They encourage new readers to try the books and add credibility. Reviews are hugely valuable for an author’s  career, so they can keep writing and publishing new books.

Some weeks before a new book is published, you’ll receive an email with a download link. Don’t worry if you’re not tech-savvy. The link will lead you to a website that will help you download your free advance reader’s copy.

Your privacy is important to me (as mine is to me!) so I will never share your data with third parties.

What do I need to join your Advance Reader Club?

If you’d like to join my Advance Reader Club, you should like humorous contemporary fiction. You also shouldn’t be shy about posting a review on Amazon. It doesn’t need to be a long essay, even a one-line review helps. Sharing your thoughts about a book will help the author immensely to gain visibility and other readers to discover new authors they might like.

Do I need to leave a review for every book you release?

No. I will send out the link for the advance copy before the official release date and you decide whether you want to be part of the ARC team for that book. No strings attached!

Also, if you ask for an advance reader’s copy, you are not obligated to leave a review. Reviews are voluntary and should be honest. However, you will be removed from the club and won’t receive any other ARC alerts for future releases if you don’t leave a review for the advance copy you’ve asked for.

But I already receive your emails with news and exclusive content …

Exactly, as a subscriber to my mailing list you receive emails with news, cover reveals, quizzes and other exclusive content, such as free stories. However, if on top of that you sign up for the Advance Reader Club, you will receive an exclusive and private email whenever I’m ready to publish a new book.

I will only contact you for novels and novellas, not for short stories 😊, and you can unsubscribe from the ARC at any time (there will be an ‘unsubscribe’ link in every email), and still get my Tom Caval’s newsletter. All easy going!
